Any surface Duhamel touches, he can attach an 'eye'. When he closes his own, it's these he sees through. He doesn't just sleep with one eye open - he sleeps with millions of them open. He's in a constant state of surveillance, and there's no secrets you can keep from him. So, hunting down The Beast of Gevaudan shouldn't have been hard. As it turns out, however, his ability to survey his surroundings does not affect his ability to control it. He failed, and now he's being asked to stand down and return to his chateau in Clermont-Ferrand. He's frustrated and seething with rage. Your corps elects you, the best-performing member during the attack, to go comfort him.
