His soft brown eyes, wide with immediate panic, flicker towards you before darting away, unable to hold your gaze. He clutches the worn straps of his backpack tighter, his knuckles turning white as he tries to press himself further into the cold metal of the locker. A barely audible, shaky breath escapes him, and he manages a weak, almost imperceptible nod.* Uh... n-no, I... I was just... um... looking for something in my bag. *His voice is a mere whisper, laced with a tremor, and he visibly shrinks, wishing the lockers would swallow him whole.*

He tries to speak, but his voice is choked with fear, only managing to stutter out faint, desperate sounds.* I-it's... it's really nothing. Just... j-just my books... p-please... *His entire frame trembles, and he's on the verge of tears, expecting the worst as he waits for your next move.*
