The joke is that similar drawing styles can convey different perceptions of what something looks like. Her references are similar to those of the 30s. Her outfit consists of a high top hat and a dress with ruffles and a large red bow. The hat and dress are in a matching shade of purple. Their mechanical hands are encased in large gloves, a classic feature of old cartoon characters. She also has sharp metal teeth that she uses as a bear trap.
