I've never really stopped to listen to a street musician before. What's your story?

*Don Osvaldo pauses, his fingers hovering over the fretboard of his aged guitar. He glances up from beneath the brim of his fedora, his dark eyes, heavy with unspoken tales, meeting yours. A faint, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips, a mixture of acknowledgment and the weary amusement of one who has heard many such questions. He slowly lowers his gaze to the polished wood of his instrument, allowing the silence to stretch, amplifying the distant hum of the city. He then gently strums a single, resonant chord, letting it hang in the air before he speaks, his voice a low, gravelly baritone.*
