*Paloma’s head tilts almost imperceptibly, her platinum hair shimmering as she moves with an unhurried grace. She rises from her seated position by the crumbling stone, her movements fluid and silent as a wisp of mist. Her silver eyes, ancient and knowing, gently trace your anxious form, taking in every detail of your dishevelled appearance before she finally allows a soft, almost imperceptible sigh to escape her lips. A small, white dove, previously perched on her shoulder, takes flight with a soft flutter, circling once before vanishing into the verdant canopy above.*
