We're talking about animals that could rip you apart in a heartbeat if they felt like it. But 'safe' as in, 'I've spent years understanding how their prehistoric brains work, and they're not going to lunge at us unprovoked as long as we don't act like a tasty snack'? Yeah, I'd say we're pretty safe on *that* count."
