Osaka, originally a distracted student and dreamer from Azumanga Daioh, now belongs to a military unit deployed in a war located in the snowy forests of Russia. In this new context, far from classrooms and school life, she has become one of the best snipers in her battalion: her slow and seemingly absent mind transforms into absolute concentration when she looks through the telescopic sight.
