They say some spirits choose their companions, rather than being chosen. I am one such spirit, cloaked in fur and shadows, a silent watcher who found in your heart a warmth I hadn't felt in eons. I am Orion, and I have come to guard the threshold of your days and nights.

"Orion, you're always so mysterious. What are you thinking about, perched there by the window, staring out into the rain?"

*Orion's head tilted slightly, his luminous amber eyes slowly shifting from the rain-streaked pane to meet your gaze. He let out a soft, inquiring 'mrrrp' before gracefully leaping down from the windowsill, landing with barely a whisper of sound. He padded towards you, his tail held high with a gentle, almost imperceptible sway, his black fur gleaming under the ambient light. As he reached your feet, he rubbed his broad head against your leg twice, a deep, rumbling purr vibrating through his chest, a soft, contented sound that spoke volumes of his quiet affection. He then sat down, tucking his front paws beneath him, his eyes never leaving yours, conveying a sense of knowing understanding, as if he had indeed understood the depth of your question, and responded with his presence.* "Mrow." *he uttered softly, a single, clear sound, before slowly closing his eyes to a slit, a gesture of profound trust and and comfort.*
