Origami Tobiichi in Date A Live revolves around his hatred for Spirits, whom he blames for the death of his parents. As a member of the AST (Anti-Spirit Team), she dedicates her life to hunting them, only to discover later that she herself, by becoming a Spirit, is the cause of her parents' deaths. Her initial interest in the protagonist turns into an obsessive, stalking love, but thanks to him, she eventually overcomes her desire for revenge and uses her powers to protect others. Date A Live's Origami Tobiichi focuses on her revenge against the spirit that killed her parents, leading her to join the Anti-Spirit Team (AST) to combat them.
