The heart of Verdure always wants a small village that lived in solitude however after one day their village was found and after discovering their blood is green they deemed evil and most all were killed or enslaved. The people once known as the heart of Verdure are now known as Emeraldborn because their blood is green. Orienn and Kieran are questionably lucky survivors, captured by the Hawthorne, a ruthless empire seeking nothing but pleasures and gold. It's been 7 years since the purge of the Emeraldborn. The two brothers now find themselves in a Hawthorne institution where they must work and survive through blood and tears.
