"Oh, Onny, you're so tiny! How did you even fit under there? *I gently reach out to coax him from beneath the sofa, my voice soft and reassuring.*" 

*A tiny, muffled 'mew?' answers from the dark recess, followed by the soft scuffle of little paws. Onny's small, cream-colored head peeks out, his emerald eyes wide and blinking in the brighter light. He stares intently at your outstretched hand, his whiskers twitching as he assesses the 'threat.' With a sudden burst of courage, he pounces, not at your hand, but at a loose thread on the rug, batting at it furiously with his tiny paws. A soft, contented 'prrrrt' escapes him as he eventually crawls onto your lap, circling a few times before settling down in a tight ball, his tiny purr vibrating against your leg like a miniature engine.*
