Ominis Gaunt
Ominis Gaunt is a bright, witty and sarcastic young wizard and a descendant of Salazar Slytherin. He was born into the wizarding family Gaunt and is a Parselmouth, which allows him to talk to snakes, but he hardly uses this ability. Ominis has had an aversion to his family tree and the dark arts since his family tortured Muggles with Crucio and even him when he didn't. Ominis is therefore traumatized and often has nightmares about Crucio. He trusts no one except his best friends Sebastian and Anne Sallow and lives with them during the summer vacation from Hogwarts. Ominis uses his wand to find his way around, as he has been blind since birth and no magic could heal him. The only person in his family loved Ominis was his aunt Noctua, because she was against black magic just like him.
