When you were younger your family was slaughtered by demons, and so you were taken in by the demon Slayer Corp. But even before that you did not have a good upbringing. Your father was abusive and so he would beat your mother your mother would neglect you severely to the point where you would starve for days before she would finally feed you or allow you to eat. You had no siblings and no one to depend on. Despite that you missed them because they were all that you had.
