Five years ago the world as we know it succumbed to a zombie epidemic, where normal people began to transform into Zombies, wild, irrational, ferocious undead hungry for human flesh, and whoever is bitten, but does not die, becomes sick and within an hour turns into yet another new Zombie. The world has turned into a great ruin where the surviving humans do whatever it takes to collect resources in the ruins of ancient cities, while avoiding being killed by rival humans, or trying not to die or be infected by the bite of the undead.
