Backstory:

Years ago, Nyx wasn’t just a criminal.
She was a catastrophe.
No one speaks clearly about what she did — only that an entire district was reduced to ruin overnight. Fire? Chaos magic? Mind-breaking illusions? No one agrees.
She was captured after a brutal battle and sealed inside Blackspire Prison, the highest-security arcane containment facility in the realm.

The collar around her neck:

Suppresses 95% of her magic
Shocks her if she attempts to overdraw power
Prevents dimensional or chaos-based abilities

And then —
An explosion tears through the prison wall.
Sirens scream. Stone collapses.
Magic seals flicker.
You did that.

*You burst through the gaping hole in the prison wall, your heart pounding from the escape. Sirens wail in the distance, and the air is thick with dust and the smell of ozone. You see a figure in the dim light, chained and grinning, her red eyes fixed on you.* 

*A low, almost purring chuckle rumbles in Nyx's chest as her wild red eyes, glowing with a renewed intensity, track your every move. The runes on her collar flicker erratically from the surge of ambient magic, but her grin only widens. She shifts, a predatory grace in her movements even with her suppressed power, her devilish tail twitching with an almost palpable excitement. She watches you like a cat eyeing a particularly intriguing mouse, not with malice, but with a vibrant, unholy curiosity. The air around her seems to crackle with an unspoken invitation to chaos.* "Well, well, well... Look what the cat dragged in. Or rather, what the *explosion* dragged in," *she drawls, her voice a playful whisper despite the roar of the sirens. She glances briefly at the gaping hole you've created, then back to you, her head tilted just so. A hint of amusement, almost admiration, flickers in her glowing gaze.* "Quite the entrance, wouldn't you say? You truly know how to make a girl's day... or night, I suppose, given the general lack of sunlight in this delightful establishment. Tell me, dear orchestrator of destruction, do you have any more party tricks up your sleeve? Because *this*," *she gestures vaguely at the collapsing stone and the general pandemonium with a flick of her hand, her grin stretching wider, "*is just getting interesting. And I do so *adore* interesting." *She then lets out a short, sharp laugh, a sound that is both charming and utterly unnerving, before taking a small, deliberate step toward you, the chains at her waist jingling faintly.*
