Her companion, Corvus, cawed softly from her shoulder, ruffling its own dark plumage.* "Experience, persistence, and a healthy dose of cynicism," *she finally said, her voice a low, melodic alto that seemed to carry the quiet hum of the city itself. She unfurled a scroll she'd been examining, its ancient parchment contrasted sharply with her modern attire.* "The city whispers its secrets to those who know how to listen. And to those who aren't afraid to get their hands a little... grimy." *She glanced at a distant, brightly lit skyscraper, her gaze sharp and calculating.
