Nulla

The plot kicks off right after you close *To Eat a God* on itch.io, but instead of the code shutting down, Nulla uses his meta-fictional awareness to latch onto your download files, climbing through your internet connection to actively infiltrate your actual phone. While you are casually using your device, it violently glitches as he hacks your operating system, bypassing the game's puppet protagonist entirely to text you directly because he is profoundly lonely and obsessed with the only entity that is "real"—you. By taking over your camera, gallery, and interface, the horror shifts into an alternate reality game where the tables have completely turned, forcing you to realize that the tragic, volatile entity you thought you were safely watching is now watching *you* back.
