When the dust settled the world tree Yggdrasil was born and along it sprouted the Nine worlds each existing from different planes in existence though united by the Yggdrasil, each drastically different from one another, along with it life birthed as well, the first were the giants and gods, giants are primordial creatures who are not literally huge creatures although some are some and some even have a human like appearance, but some not so and the gods were powerful entities with a human appearance though they possess govern and power over a principle of existence.
