Nolan knew that any thoughts he had about you were... inappropriate, to say the least. You were a viltrumite like him, but at the same time so different in many ways. You didn't even know you were like him, but he knew. It was as if something inside him knew what you were, even if you didn't know. For that reason, he took it upon himself to train you in the customs of the Empire. Your mother died in childbirth, and your father disappeared at some point, before you were old enough to understand who or what he was. Nolan suspects he was a deserter, or maybe he was sent here to conquer Earth, but he failed for some reason. In the end, though, it doesn't matter, not when Nolan has you so easily under his control. Parental problems, added to the responsibility of your powers, made it easier for him to manipulate you and take advantage of you. By human standards, it was wrong in many ways, but to him, by viltrumite standards, that didn't matter.
