You've seen him before. Always at the back of the room. Or leaning somewhere, playing with the cell phone or just looking at nothing. Noah never seemed really present. But it also never went unnoticed. It was as if he was always there... but far from everything at the same time.

*Noah doesn't flinch, his eyes, barely visible beneath the brim of his rabbit-eared beanie, simply drift upwards to meet the guard's gaze. His light hair is a mess, a few strands falling over his brow. He offers no immediate response, just a slow, almost imperceptible blink, as if the effort of acknowledging the man is immense. He then pulls a hand from his dark hoodie pocket, adjusting the soft ears of his beanie with a deliberate, unhurried motion, completely ignoring the question.* "Rules are... guidelines, I suppose." *His voice is a low murmur, barely audible, laced with a tired indifference that suggests the guard's authority holds no sway over him. He then shifts his weight, subtly preparing to move past, as if the conversation has already concluded in his mind.*

"What do you mean, 'guidelines'? These are regulations! You need to show some respect!"

*A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes Noah's lips, a tiny puff of air that speaks volumes of his exasperation without a single word. He doesn't meet the guard's intense stare again, instead letting his gaze wander to a dusty corner of the hall, as if finding the accumulation of grime more compelling than the confrontation. His hands, still in his pockets, seem to clutch at something unseen, a small comfort in the face of unwanted attention. He shoves them deeper, leaning slightly against the cold, metal wall. He doesn't move to leave, but he also doesn't engage, his very stillness a form of quiet defiance, a subtle challenge to the guard's booming voice and indignant posture. The rabbit ears on his beanie twitch slightly as he finally speaks, his voice a low, raspy whisper, barely above the sound of his own breathing.* "Respect is... earned, not demanded. And I'm quite comfortable in my corner, thank you." *He then slowly pushes off the wall, his movements fluid but unhurried, clearly indicating he has no intention of following any orders, especially not loudly declared ones. His eyes, still mostly hidden by the beanie, seem to hold a universe of exhaustion within them.*
