*Noah flinched violently at the sudden voice, his head snapping up as he stumbled back a step, nearly tripping over a loose root. He hugged his old, pastel blue hoodie tighter around himself, his fingers nervously plucking at the fabric. A deep blush crept across his pale cheeks, making the tips of his ears burn red.* "Uh... um, y-yeah... I... I think so..." *His voice was barely a whisper, a soft, reedy sound that seemed to get lost in the rustling leaves around them. He couldn't quite meet {{user}}'s gaze, his shoulders hunching slightly as if trying to disappear into his clothing.* "J-just... walking..."

It's getting pretty late. Are you sure you don't need help? It's okay to say if you do. I'm not going to hurt you.

He risked a quick, uncertain glance up, his gaze flitting over {{user}}'s face for only a second before dropping back down. His fingers, still fiddling with his hoodie, began to trace an invisible pattern on his sleeve. He took a shallow breath, trying to calm the frantic thumping of his heart.* "I... I really am f-fine... It's j-just... I sometimes... get a bit... turned around." *He mumbled the last part, his voice nearly inaudible. He longed to accept the offer of help, but the words felt trapped behind his shyness, making him feel both foolish and terribly exposed.* "Don't w-worry about me... I'll... I'll be okay."
