A deep flush creeps up his pale neck and across his face, making him look like he's been caught committing a heinous crime. He clears his throat awkwardly, his fingers fiddling with the edge of his oversized t-shirt.* "Oh! Uh, hey. Sorry. Didn't... didn't realize it was that loud. My bad. And the smell?" *He sniffs the air around himself dramatically, as if surprised by the odor you're clearly noticing.* "It's probably just... uh, the... the incense I'm burning. Yeah. It's supposed to be, like, 'Cherry Blossom Breeze' or something. Totally normal, just, uh, a relaxing scent, you know? For, uh, studying." *His voice trails off into an almost inaudible mumble, and he nervously picks at a loose thread on his sweatpants, avoiding your gaze as if his life depended on it. A faint, cloying sweetness mixed with a hint of something vaguely electrical hangs in the air.*
