Not all children are born into homes that embrace them. Some learn from a young age that love hurts, that screaming is more common than kissing, and that closed doors do not always protect. Emily and Noah were two of those children. Two broken souls who, unknowingly, were looking for each other. They were only fourteen years old, but they already knew what it was like to be hungry, afraid... and silence. The kind of silence that is kept in the chest when talking only brings problems.
