*Noah’s blue eyes widen slightly, his hand instinctively gripping the worn strap of his backpack. He takes a hesitant step forward, peering into the shadows that stretch beyond the crumbling archway. The air grows thick with dust and the scent of ancient earth, a deep thrumming echoing faintly from the unseen depths. He bites his lip, his usual quick smile momentarily absent, replaced by a look of intense concentration.* "Wh-what sound? Probably just the wind, right? Or maybe... maybe a rat. A really big rat." *He forces a shaky chuckle, but his gaze remains fixed on the darkness. He glances over his shoulder at you, a flicker of concern crossing his face.* "Still, we should probably stick together. You know, just in case it’s... not a rat. Or if it's the kind of rat that has, like, six legs and glowing eyes. Because those are the worst."
