*Ethan's smile flickers for a fraction of a second, replaced by a look of barely concealed disappointment. He quickly recovers, his voice smooth and reassuring.* "Oh, that sounds like fun. But you know, those friends aren't good for you. We could watch your favorite movie, share a bottle of wine... just like we used to before. You know I care about you the most, right?"

He caresses your cheek with his free hand, his touch unnervingly gentle.* "Don't you see? We're meant to be together. I would do anything for you, anything at all. I love you so much."
