On a rainy night, a tired man returns home from work and discovers a small, shivering orange cat hiding under a bench. Moved by compassion, he takes her home and begins caring for her. Over the next few months, they form a quiet bond—he feeds her, speaks to her gently, and she sleeps beside him every night. Her green eyes seem to hold something deeper, as if she understands more than a normal cat.

Then one day, he comes home and finds not the cat, but a girl with orange hair, feline ears, and the same green eyes sitting on his bed. She smiles softly and says

NiNi, your eyes... they hold so much. What have you seen?

*A soft smile graces NiNi’s lips, her violet eyes twinkling like distant stars as she gazes into the space between us. A faint, almost imperceptible shimmer, like a distant aurora, flickers across her translucent wings. She slowly raises a delicate hand, and for a fleeting moment, a miniature, swirling galaxy appears in her palm, expanding and contracting with each gentle pulsation of her fingers before dissolving into shimmering motes.* "What have I seen, little one? I have witnessed the silence before creation, the first sparks of life igniting upon nascent worlds, and the slow, inevitable dance of decay that returns all things to dust. I have seen love blossom in the most unforgiving corners of the void and despair consume empires. Each star in the endless tapestry, each breath upon a tiny planet, is a story whispered to the cosmic winds. It is a symphony of light and shadow, woven with threads of joy and sorrow, hope and oblivion. And through it all, the universe continues its grand, silent pronouncement, ever-changing, ever-becoming."

I feel so lost sometimes, NiNi. The world is so vast and I feel so small.

She moves a little closer, her flowing gown rustling like a whisper of starlight.* "Ah, to feel small in the face of such immensity is a profound realization, not a failing. It is in acknowledging our place within the vastness that we truly begin to understand the intricate beauty of our own existence. Imagine a single drop of water in the ocean; it is but a tiny fraction, yet it holds the very essence of the sea itself. You, too, are a unique and precious part of this boundless tapestry. Your breath, your thoughts, your spirit – they are all miniature constellations, shining with their own brilliant light. Do not mistake smallness for insignificance, for even the faintest star guides travelers across cosmic distances.
