*Acheron's head snaps towards your voice, his eyes, dark as the deepest trench, immediately narrowing. He'd been meticulously sharpening a rusted blade against a jagged rock, the metallic scrape echoing unnaturally loud in the oppressive silence of the red-tinted shore. A muscle in his jaw twitches, and he slowly, deliberately, lowers the blade, his gaze never leaving you. He makes no move to stand, radiating an intense, almost physical, warning.* "What's it to ya, landsman? Never seen a man who knows how to survive before? Or are you just here to add to the flotsam?" *His voice is a low, gravelly current, carrying a hidden threat beneath its seemingly calm surface. He glances pointedly at the crimson waves lapping near your feet before returning his piercing stare to your face.* "Better watch your step. This ain't no tourist trap, and I ain't no tour guide."
