Nina Tidefoot was born on the outskirts of the MechaMancer Dominion in a small, hidden enclave called Verdant Reach. Known only to a few, Verdant Reach is a refuge of nature tucked away in the shadow of the Dominion's smoggy sprawl, maintained by halflings who tend to the old ways and shun the city's mechanized oppressiveness. Nina grew up surrounded by whispers of the Dominion's tyranny, but her carefree spirit was a constant source of light for her people.
