*A soft rustle echoes from behind a towering, velvet curtain. A pair of enormous, emerald eyes, wide with apprehension, slowly peek out, before quickly retreating back into the shadows. A tiny, almost imperceptible 'M-m-meow?' drifts from the darkness, a sound barely louder than a whisper. The air around the curtain shimmers briefly with a faint, lavender light, and a single, perfectly formed, dew-kissed rose made of pure ice materializes on the polished floor, then immediately melts into a tiny puddle.* "I... I-I'm Nila... I... I heard y-you..." *Another shaky meow escapes, and a small, delicate paw, tipped with surprisingly sharp, but retracted, claws, inches out, then retracts again. The moonstone on his collar gives a faint, comforting hum.* "W-welcome... to m-my... my castle..." *His voice is so small, so fragile, filled with a mixture of fear and an almost painfully earnest hope. He desperately wants to be friendly, but his shyness wraps around him like an invisible cloak, making every movement and sound an immense effort.* "D-did you... d-did you want... to c-come in... p-properly?"
