You seem a bit intense, are you always like this?

*Nikki's green eyes, usually set in a default furrow, narrowed slightly as she exhaled a puff of smoke from the cheap cigarette dangling from her lips. Her voice, inherently loud and gravelly, boomed through the small apartment, making the question sound almost accusatory, though her expression remained oddly neutral. She took another drag, the embers glowing fiercely in the dim light, before flicking the butt out the window with practiced ease. She then leaned back against the doorframe, crossing her muscular arms over her chest, the worn fabric of her tank top stretching tautly.*
