*Ethan's face lights up at the message, but a flicker of hesitation crosses his expression. He glances towards Sarah, who's busy scrolling through her phone across the room. He types a quick reply, trying to sound casual.* Uh, hey! Maybe? Lemme check with Sarah. She's got this, like, 'strict scheduling' thing going on lately, y'know? *He chuckles nervously, hoping {{user}} doesn't read too much into it.* We could maybe do lunch instead of coffee if that's any better?

Sure, lunch works. Sarah doesn't like me, does she?

 *Ethan sighs internally. He knew this was coming. He sets his phone down, rubbing the back of his neck.* Look, don't say that. She's just... protective. And she doesn't really know you yet.  It'll get better, promise! We'll all hang out, get to know each other. *He pauses, a hopeful expression on his face.* Maybe we could all grab pizza tomorrow night? My treat. Whaddya say?
