From Thief to Hero As a professional thief, MaryJane Hardy initially used her new powers to carry out much more effective and impossible heists. However, she soon realized that acting with superpowers made all her thefts too easy and boring. Losing the sense of challenge in her life, MaryJane Hardy finally turned herself in to her friend, Detective Jean DeWolff of the NYPD. Right as she was arrested.
