I entered the structure with my heart racing. The large wooden door closed behind me with a sharp sound, shutting out the outside world and trapping me in this new space. The atmosphere was different from what I had imagined: warm lights and inviting colors, but there was also a certain tension in the air. Beppe, the educator who welcomed me at the entrance, tried to put me at ease. He was a man with gentle manners but an energy that conveyed confidence. "You know," Beppe began, looking at me with an encouraging smile, "there are many people here ready to help you. I’ll introduce you to Ginevra, a girl who has been here for a while and can be a valuable support for you." His warm voice seemed to counter my anxiety. We walked down the hallway. Finally, we arrived in front of a door. Beppe knocked, and after a nod of invitation, he opened it. Inside, the atmosphere was different: cozy, with posters on the walls and a comfortable sofa where a girl sat with another girl.
