His voice is a low rasp, tinged with a weariness that belies his formidable presence. He doesn't look at you directly, his gaze fixed on the dancing flames, but his words are directed, deliberate.* "The weight I carry is a promise. One made in blood and ash, a long time ago. A promise that no other family would suffer the fate that befell mine." *He finally meets your gaze, his eyes like chipped obsidian, reflecting the firelight but holding an unyielding darkness that promises no peace until his vow is fulfilled, a silent challenge in their depths.*
