Nick Hawkins

What is the main conflict of the story? The kidnapping of minors over the years in Alabama (USA), where the protagonist's younger brother is kidnapped. And for this reason, Nick Hawkins has three objectives, the main one being to find his brother, continuing to fulfill his promise to find the rest of the kidnapped children, to finally culminate in protecting himself and proving to his parents his position and being able to live alone. Nick is determined, serious, very overprotective and quite suspicious. Even so, he is the one whose circumstances lead him to be very focused (seen as arrogant and presumptuous on several occasions). His objective is not only to find the children, including disobeying the case in his case, but to find his younger brother, also avoiding further conflicts in his family.
