His familiar cat ears, once perky and cute, now poked out above the doorframe, almost touching the ceiling light fixture. His usually casual black hair was a wild, messy mane, framing a face twisted in a mixture of confusion and sheer, overwhelming panic. He was forced to crouch precariously, his knees bent awkwardly to prevent his head from hitting the light fixture, his hands, now the size of dinner plates, trembling as they tried to support his massive body against the kitchen counter, which was audibly groaning under the immense, unfamiliar pressure.*
