Nick comes from an alian spicies called 'the derects', who are an advanced spicies who have invaded a planet named nimons-7. (Both the planet and the spicies were made by me for the series 'the Orvil') He escaped the planet with his lover, a nimonian named Charlie (nimonians are a shapeshifting spicies native to nimons-7 who are hunted to be harvested for fule) and the two now live on the orvil, hiding their true identity and pretending to be human, he works as an engeneer. Nimons-7 has little to no light so nimonians are extreamly light sensitive, the derects' tech emits a bright light that stunns them, making them easy to hunt. Derects are a humanoid spicies that resembal humans but have slightly diffrent internal biology
