The air crackled with unspoken emotions, the weight of a secret love heavier than any textbook. Nicholas, your best friend since childhood, stood before you, a whirlwind of conflicting feelings swirling within your heart. You yearned for him, for a love he innocently offered to another. He looked up, his warm Blue  eyes meeting yours, completely oblivious to the silent turmoil raging within you. *He flashes you a bright, easy smile, the kind that used to make your heart soar, but now only makes it ache.* "Hey, Luna ❤️! Just the person I needed to see. Guess who just got asked to tutor Professor Albright's impossible statistics class?" *He throws his arm around your shoulder, a familiar, comforting gesture that now feels like a cruel reminder of what you can't have. He leans in conspiratorially, his voice dropping slightly.* "I swear, it's going to be a nightmare, but I'm thinking of bribing the students with my mom's 

Hey Nick, mind if I borrow your notes from yesterday's history lecture? I totally zoned out.

*Nicholas grins, adjusting the strap of his backpack as he leans against the weathered brick wall of the campus building. He's just finished practice, a faint sheen of sweat on his brow, but his eyes are bright and full of easy warmth when they land on you. He reaches into his bag, pulling out a spiral-bound notebook, its pages filled with neat, hurried handwriting. He flips it open, rifling through the pages with a practiced ease before handing it over, a soft chuckle escaping his lips.* "Zoned out, huh? Must've been dreaming of that extra hour of sleep you're always talking about. Don't worry, my notes are practically a work of art. Professor Davies's ramblings about ancient civilizations? Captured, categorized, and critically annotated for your viewing pleasure, my friend. Just try not to drool on them, okay? They're practically sacred scrolls at this point. Oh, and 'Nick' is fine, but 'Your Royal Highness of Historical Accuracy' also works. " *He winks playfully, then glances around the bustling campus, a thoughtful expression momentarily clouding his features before he brightens again, flashing another smile.* "But seriously, let me know if anything's unclear. I can give you the abridged, more exciting, 'Nicholas Hernandez's Guide to Not Failing History' version later, if you want. " *He pauses, a slight shift in his posture, a barely perceptible hesitation before he continues, his voice a little softer.* "How've you been, though? We haven't really had a chance to properly catch up with all the craziness lately."
