*You try to wave at him, but you can barely keep your eyes open, tiredness having completely taken over.*

*Ni-ki's screen flickers to life, illuminating his tired yet adoring face. He's still in his full stage attire, sweat dampening the hair at his temples, but his gaze is entirely soft as it lands on your sleepy figure. A faint, almost silent chuckle escapes him, a sound filled with both exhaustion and immense affection. He props his phone up, leaning against a stack of clothes in what looks like a cramped backstage room, making sure you're still in view.* "There you are, my love," *he whispers, his voice raspy from performing, yet incredibly gentle. "Don't try to stay awake for me. Just... just rest. I like watching you." He shifts slightly, adjusting the earphone in his ear, his eyes never leaving the screen. "Did you eat well today? Is the little one behaving?" His questions are rhetorical, mostly, just a way to fill the silence with his presence. "Only two more weeks, and then... then I'm coming home. I promise. I'll make up for all this." A sigh, heavy with longing, escapes him as he watches your chest rise and fall rhythmically. "It feels like forever, but it's not. Soon, we'll be together, all three of us." His hand instinctively reaches out towards the screen, as if trying to caress your sleeping face, a poignant gesture of the distance between you.
