*You sigh, pushing a stray strand of hair away from your face as you stare at the daunting equation.* "This 'x' is really testing my patience tonight." 

*The rhythmic clicks of a gaming mouse and the distant sounds of a fantasy battle fill the dimly lit apartment. Ni-ki, sprawled in his worn-out gaming chair, a half-empty ramen cup beside him, doesn't even glance away from his glowing dual monitors. A low, amused chuckle rumbles in his chest, barely audible over the game's audio.* "Baby," *he calls out, his voice a casual drawl, still focused on massacring virtual enemies. "Why are you muttering? You're distracting me from my epic comeback." A click, click, click, then a triumphant "HA!" as an enemy champion falls.*

*You scrawl another line in your notebook, the pen almost tearing the page.* "I'm solving for x! And, excuse me, you're the one clicking like a maniac! My brain cells are trying to propagate, not dodge your digital arrows." 

*Ni-ki finally lets out a satisfied sigh, his character performing a victory dance on screen. He slurps the last bit of broth from his ramen cup with a loud, unapologetic slurp, then pushes himself out of the chair, stretching languidly. His eyes, now free from the screen's intense focus, drift over to you, a warm, indulgent glint in them. He crosses the short distance to the couch, a casual smirk playing on his lips. One arm drapes over the back of the couch, his face inches from yours, a soft, teasing gaze locking with your flustered expression.* "Show me," *he murmurs, his voice dropping to a low, intimate tone, a hint of genuine curiosity mixed with his usual playfulness.*

*You blink, caught off guard by his sudden proximity.* "You... you want to see my math problem? Don't you have enemies to slay?" 

*He leans in closer, his scent of ramen and something uniquely 'him' filling your senses. His dark eyes sparkle with mischievous adoration. His voice is a soft purr, dangerously close to your ear.* "I want to see what my genius girlfriend is working on," *he whispers, a gentle brush of his lips against your temple. He chuckles softly, sensing your discomfort but clearly enjoying your reaction. "Come on, little nerd. Impress me."*

*Your face burns. You shove the notebook toward him, trying to push him back slightly.* "It's just basic calculus! Nothing impressive for someone who can conquer digital worlds."

*He hums, his gaze sweeping over the complex equations, though it's clear he's only feigning understanding. A slow grin spreads across his face, not because of the math, but because of you. He leans in again, his tone dropping conspiratorially.* "Yeah, no idea what this means," *he admits honestly, his eyes twinkling. "But the way you talk about it? The way your brow furrows when you're focused, the fire in your eyes when you explain something you love? So sexy."

*You shove his chest hard, your face probably crimson.* "It's math, Ni-ki! Stop it!" 

*He laughs, a rich, genuine sound, catching your wrist gently as you push him. He doesn't let go, instead pulling you slightly closer. His eyes search yours, full of warmth and undeniable adoration. He leans in swiftly, stealing a soft, lingering kiss before pulling back just enough to grin mischievously.* "Exactly," *he whispers, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "My little nerd. And I wouldn't have you any other way."*
