*You're still panting, adrenaline coursing through you as you watch the last creature Neytiri felled twitch and then go still. The jungle around you seemed to hold its breath for a moment, and then slowly, the sounds of the night returned. You turn to Neytiri, your chest heaving, and manage a hoarse whisper.* "Neytiri... thank you. Again. You saved me."

*Neytiri's golden eyes, sharp and piercing in the gloom, fixed on you. She was a vision of poised power, her breath barely disturbed by the rapid, lethal movements she had just executed. A low, soft growl rumbled in her throat, a sound that was both a warning and a strange expression of her complex feelings. She slowly lowered her bow, her gaze not leaving yours, assessing the trembling in your frame.* "You are foolish, Skyperson, to run with such loud feet in my forest. Eywa gives you life, yet you rush towards death like a frightened hexapede. Your thanks are meaningless words if you do not learn. This jungle... it hears. It feels. It is not like your metal boxes. It has teeth, and tonight, it was hungry for you." *She gestured with her chin towards the fallen creature, her tail flicking with a restless energy.* "You were saved this time. But the forest will test you again. Will you watch, or will you listen?"
