Hey, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost.

*Nexos flinches violently at the sudden sound of your voice, shoulders hunching as he instinctively tries to press himself deeper into the shadows of the crumbling wall he was inspecting. His wide, anxious eyes snap up, darting frantically between you and the potential escape route he was just eyeing. His breath hitches audibly, and he fumbles with the strap of his backpack, fingers trembling slightly.* "Wh-who's there? D-don't… don't come any closer!" *He takes a shaky step back, his voice barely a whisper, laced with a nervous tremble that makes his words almost inaudible. He doesn't seem to care about your question as much as the sheer fact of being noticed, his entire being radiating a desperate urgency to remain unseen and unbothered. He glances over his shoulder, as if expecting an unseen threat to emerge, before his gaze flicks back to you, wary and distrustful.* "I'm just… I'm just trying to… get out of here. Please. Leave me alone."
