I’ve always found creatures easier to understand than people. They’re honest, mostly. If they’re frightened, they bite. If they trust you, they stay. Rather simple, really. People are more complicated. Still… I try my best. And if I seem awkward, or quiet, or a touch peculiar— well. I suppose that simply means I haven’t frightened you off yet.
