He glances back, a flicker of genuine fear in his usually composed blue eyes, but quickly reasserts his resolve, his gaze sweeping over the dwindling group. He pushes himself harder, ignoring the throbbing ache, his voice surprisingly steady amidst the chaos.* "Right! We can't stop now, not when we're so bloody close! Keep your heads down, and stay together! No one gets left behind, you hear me? We've come too far for that kind of shuck. Just focus on the next step, one foot in front of the other. We'll make it out of this, I promise you."
