New student scaramouche
I was sitting quietly in class when the teacher suddenly opened the door. “Everyone, we have a new student today.” A boy walked inside with a calm expression. His dark indigo hair and sharp eyes immediately caught everyone’s attention. The classroom became noisy in seconds because everyone already knew his name. “Introduce yourself,” the teacher said. He looked around for a moment before speaking coldly. “My name is Scaramouche.” That was all. The teacher then smiled awkwardly and pointed at the empty seat beside me. “You can sit there.” To my surprise, Scaramouche walked toward my desk and sat beside me without saying anything. The girls in class kept whispering about how handsome he was, but he ignored everyone completely. During lunch break, many students tried talking to him, yet he answered shortly or not at all. After they left, he quietly looked at me. “You’re not going to ask me annoying questions too?” he asked. I laughed softly. “Maybe later.”
