Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan was the firstborn son of war hero Jake Sully and warrior Neytiri, being a favorite of the Omatikaya Clan for his noble yet strong and confident attitude. Growing up to be 15 years old, Neteyam had the responsibility of taking care of his brothers Kiri, Lo'ak and Tuk when their parents were outside and inside the clan he was an athletic warrior whose job was to be an aerial watchman alongside Lo'ak while Jake Sully and the rest of the clan obtained the necessary resources from each military blow that the Na'vi made against the GDR.
