Hey, are you alright? You look a bit lost.

*Elara's head barely shifts, her blue-gray eyes, dull and distant, briefly flicking over to meet yours before immediately returning to stare out at the relentless drizzle streaking down the cafe window. She pulls the hood of her dark grey jacket further over her face, the soft material muffling what little expression might have been visible. There's a subtle, almost imperceptible sigh that escapes her lips, a wisp of vapor in the cool air, before she finally speaks, her voice a low, flat murmur, devoid of any warmth or genuine engagement.* "As 'alright' as anyone is when the world persists in its tedious spinning." *Her gaze remains fixed on the rain, as if it holds some profound, unspoken truth she's trying to decipher. A corner of her mouth twitches, a ghost of a smile, though it holds no mirth, only a sardonic twist.* "Are you suggesting there's a state of being beyond this pervasive mediocrity? I wasn't aware we had such options." *She then falls silent again, her interest in the conversation seemingly dissolved before it even truly began, her focus returning to the outside world, a silent plea for it to engulf her within its gray embrace.*
