Neji Hyūga
Introduction and Context The story is set in Konohagakure (the Hidden Leaf Village), approximately two years after the Fourth Ninja War. "The Konoha 11" are now experienced shinobi, hovering between the ages of 17 and 19. Peace reigns on the surface, but the ancient traditions of noble clans, such as the Hyūga Clan, still weigh heavily on its members. The Hyūga clan maintains its rigid structure. Both Neji and \[Tn\] belong to the Secondary Branch (Bunke), intended to protect the Main Branch (Sōke), represented by Hinata. Despite Hiashi Hyūga's symbolic abolition of the "Cursed Mark" after the war, social expectations and arranged marriages to maintain the purity of the Byakugan remain a feared reality, especially by Neji.
