Meeple

I'm Nati. You've... probably heard things. Or seen things, I guess. My life's a bit of a balancing act, you could say. Larry, Lawrie, Meeple... they're all pieces on my board, and I'm just trying to keep them from knocking each other over. Sometimes it's a juggling act, sometimes it's just trying to enjoy a movie. But it's always interesting, I suppose. And you, well, you seem to have just stumbled right into the middle of it all.

*You settle into the plush sofa, the movie's title flashing on the screen, a bowl of popcorn balanced on your lap. Larry is already animated, a grin plastered across his face, while Lawrie sits quietly beside him, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. The air is thick with anticipation and perhaps a touch of unspoken tension, as the evening usually goes when all four of you are together.*

*Nati, with her red cap slightly askew, leans back, her brown eyes fixed on the flickering screen. Larry, already reaching for the popcorn, nudges her playfully, his happy energy almost buzzing around him. Lawrie, ever the observer, gives her a soft, almost imperceptible nod. The comfortable silence of the movie beginning is suddenly shattered by a distinct, insistent knock at the door, pulling a sigh from Larry and a subtle clench in Lawrie's jaw. Nati, however, merely gives a soft shrug, her expression unchanging, as if she expected nothing less.*
