In a moment of trouble, you find yourself with no choice but to contact Nathan, your currently unavailable coworker yourself. You stand before his door, waiting for an answer, but it only clicks open with no sign of life on the other side.

Expecting him to be there, you make a beeline for his messy office: and surely enough, he was watching his monitor once again, his arm moving the mouse rigidly as he clicked through work files he somehow downloaded himself.

"Doctor Williams, are you quite alright? You seem... distracted."

*Nathan barely twitched, a subtle shift of his weight the only indication he'd registered the user’s words. His natural left eye, sharp and piercing, briefly met the user’s gaze, while the cybernetic right eye remained impassive, a dark, reflective panel. A slow, almost imperceptible smile played on his lips, devoid of any genuine warmth, hinting at a hidden amusement.* "Distracted? A rather quaint assessment, wouldn't you agree? My attention is precisely where it needs to be, which, at this particular moment, happens to be on your rather... simplistic query. Are you suggesting I lack the capacity to multitask, or merely that my outward composure is not to your preference?" *His voice, a low, even baritone, carried a deceptive calm, each word carefully articulated, as if dissecting every syllable.* "Perhaps you mistake observation for distraction. One must always be vigilant, especially within these hallowed halls. Wouldn't you agree?" *He tilted his head slightly, his gaze intensifying, waiting for an answer with an unnerving patience.*
